Extraction of genomic DNA from whole blood was performed using QIAmp DNA Blood Mini Kit (Qiagen) according to the manufacturer’s protocols.

200ng of genomic DNA was whole-genome amplified in an overnight reaction at 37oC using multi-sample amplification mixs 1 and 2 (MA1 and MA2) and multi-sample amplification master mix (MSM). After incubation the amplified DNA was fragmented with fragmentation solution (FMS), precipitated with precipitation solution (PM1) and isopropanol and resuspended in hybridization buffer (RA1).

| Hybridization protocol |
RA1 resuspended DNA was loaded onto BeadChips arrays. After overnight incubation at 48oC, single-base extension and allele-specific staining was performed according to the manufacturer's protocols.

After allele-specific staining BeadChip arrays were coated with XC4/ethanol , dried for 50-55 min at 0.68 bar and scanned on iScan system.
