Title The role of TEFM in mitochondrial gene expression [smallRNA]

Summary We investigated the role of TEFM in vivo by creating heart- and skeletal-muscle specific knockout of this gene. We identified that TEFM is required for the processivity of POLRMT and its loss leads to significantly decreased mitochondrial transcription.
 
Overall design Small RNA from isolated heart mitochondria from four control mice (L/L) and four Tefm knockout mice (L/L, cre), was sequenced and analysed for differential expression.
