Title Microarray analysis of liver biopsies at baseline and after one year follow up from 21 patients with histologically proven NASH (responders, bariatric surgery).
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary We used microarray analysis to study the global program of gene expression in the liver of 21 patients with histologically proven NASH who had an improvement in disease activity, including a decrease of lobular inflammation and/or ballooning, one year after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass.

Overall design High quality RNA appropriate for microarray analysis was isolated from liver biopsies at baseline and after one year follow up.
