Title |
Collaborative repressive action of the antagonistic ETS transcription factors Pointed and Yan fine-tunes gene expression to confer robustness in Drosophila [ChIP-Seq] |
Organism |
Drosophila melanogaster |
Experiment type |
Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Purpose: To understand how the Drosophila ETS transcription factors Yan and Pointed together with the corepressor Groucho are recruited to chromatin
|
|
|
Overall design |
ChIP profiles of Yan, Pnt or Groucho from either stage 11 wildtype (WT) or mutant embryos were generated by deep sequencing, in duplicate using an Illumina Hi-seq instrument according to manufacturers protocols. Raw sequence data was aligned to the April 2006 Drosophila melanogaster genome and peak detection was perfomed using MACS software. SPP was used to generate Wig files that were normalized to total dataset size.
