Title |
Genome-wide identification of AP-2α targets in bladder cells by RNA-seq (Control vs AP-2α KD) |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
TFAP2A (AP-2α) is a member of the transcription factor AP-2 family, functions as a tumor suppressor by regulating the expression of various cancer-related genes; its expression is positively correlated with chemosensitivity and survival of cancer patients.

Overall design |
SV-HUC-1 cells were infected with a lentivirus expressing scramble shRNA or AP-2α shRNA for 48 h and then the cells were selected with puromycin (1 µg/mL). Cells infected with scramble shRNA (control) and AP-2α shRNA were sequenced by Illumina HiSeq2000.
