Title Transcriptional profiling reveals differential response to heat stress in Tharparker and Crossbred Cattle
Organism Bos taurus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary We have used RNA-Seq to examine expression profiles of PBMCs from Crossbred and Thraparkar under heat Stress.

Overall design Tharparkar and Crossbred were subjected to heat for a period of 7 days. RNA was isolated from PBMCs of both genetic groups (n=5 for each genetic group), before ( 0 days ) and post heat stress (7 day ). The pooled RNA samples of each genetic group for both the individual time points were subjected to illumina sequencing .
