Title Transcriptomic comparison between LGR5 and POLI double tumor cell populations in CRC
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary A transcriptomic comparative analysis was performed to explore and characterize in terms of gene expression and biological pathways the different LGR5 and POLI population from colorectal tumor xenografts.

Overall design Colorectal cancer tumor organoids were knocked-in with fluorescent reporters to label LGR5 and POLR1A populations. These modified organoids were injected and grown as subcutaneous tumor xenografts. Derived tumor were processed and the double LGR5 and POLI tumor cells populations (LGR5+/POL1high, LGR5+POL1low/LGR5-POL1high/LGR5-POL1low) were isolated and processed for transcirptomic analyses.
