Title |
Genome-Wide CRISPR Screens for Toxoplasma Gondii Genes Related to Artemisinin Susceptibility |
Organisms |
Toxoplasma gondii; synthetic construct |
Experiment type |
Other
|
Summary |
We used CRISPR to generate pools of T. gondii mutants in the presence of dihydroartemisinin to identify genes that confer increased or decreased sensitivity to this drug.
|
|
|
Overall design |
We performed three screens in which we looked for mutations that decrease susceptibility to DHA and one screen in which we looked for mutations that increase susceptibility.
