Title |
Simultaneous sequencing of coding and non-coding RNA from patients with Alzheimer's disease |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Human post-mortem brain samples (middle temporal gyrus) from Alzheimer's disease (AD) and control individuals were processed for simultaneous coding and non-coding RNA-Seq analysis using a novel RNA-Seq protocol. These data were then analyzed for differential expression.

Overall design |
Total RNA was extracted from human post-mortem brain samples (Middle temporal gyrus; 3 AD, 4 healthy control), and a modified RNA-Seq protocol used to simultaneously examine coding and non-coding RNA.
