Title Mouse microglia express unique miRNA-mRNA networks to facilitate age-specific functions in the developing central nervous system [smRNA-seq]
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Non-coding RNA profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To investigate the expression of miRNA/mRNA regulatory networks in a developmental cohort of C57Bl/6 mice. This submission is the miRNA sequencing dataset.

Overall design Sequenced the miRNAome and mRNAome of primary mouse microglia during brain development and adult homeostasis (three age groups; P6, P15 and 8 weeks). Sequenced and compared small RNA expression in both CD45+ microglial cells and CD45- bulk CNS cells in each sample. mRNA expression was sequenced in CD45+ microglial cells.
