Title RNA-sequencing of mammary epithelial cell subpopulations from normal premenopausal and postmenopausal breast tissue [RNASeq_2_PrePost]

Summary RNA-sequencing was performed on patient mammary epithelial cell subsets from premenopausal and postmenopausal women undergoing breast reduction surgeries to interrogate transcriptional changes in postmenopausal cells.
 
Overall design Lin-EPCAM+CD49F- ML, Lin- EPCAM+CD49F+ LP and Lin-EPCAM-CD49F+ basal cells were isolated from normal premenopausal (n=4 patients) and postmenopausal (n=4 patients) human breast tissue by FACS and subjected to RNA-sequencing. The postmenopausal patients included in the study were not taking hormone-replacement therapies at time of surgery.
