Title |
PDZ-Binding Kinase, a Novel Regulator of Vascular Remodeling in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension |
Organism |
Rattus norvegicus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
To investigate the underlying mechanism of pulmonary hypertension, the model of monocrotaline (MCT)-treated pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) rats were constructed to detect the differentially expressed profile of genes in lung tissue of PAH rat.

Overall design |
The male rats were treated with monocrotaline (MCT) to induce pulmonary arterial hypertension model. One dose of MCT (60 mg/kg) was injected Intraperitoneally into animals. Control rats were injected with the equivalent volume of dissolvent solution according to their weights. After 4 weeks late, the lung tissue was collected to detect the genes expression profile.
