Title PDZ-Binding Kinase, a Novel Regulator of Vascular Remodeling in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
Organism Rattus norvegicus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To investigate the underlying mechanism of pulmonary hypertension, the model of monocrotaline (MCT)-treated pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) rats were constructed to detect the differentially expressed profile of genes in lung tissue of PAH rat.

Overall design The male rats were treated with monocrotaline (MCT) to induce pulmonary arterial hypertension model. One dose of MCT (60 mg/kg) was injected Intraperitoneally into animals. Control rats were injected with the equivalent volume of dissolvent solution according to their weights. After 4 weeks late, the lung tissue was collected to detect the genes expression profile.
