Title Transcriptome profiling of Normal and Cancerous Prostate Cells [expression array]
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by array
Summary To identify aberrant non coding gene expression in prostate cancer, we performed expression profiling of normal prostate epithelial cells (PrEC) and the prostate cancer cell line LNCaP using Affymetrix HuGene 2.0 ST expression arrays. These expression arrays were validated by expression qPCR of selected genes.

Overall design Total Input RNA was extracted from prostate cancer (LNCaP) and normal (PrEC) cells and hybridised to Affymetrix HuGene 2.0ST arrays (3 replicates of each cell type).
