Title Genomewide copy number profiles for breast cancer from Taiwanese women
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Genome variation profiling by SNP array
Summary The incidence of breast cancer has been rapidly increasing in East Asia. This is the first study of genome wide copy number of breast cancer in East Asia. We conducted this study to compare the genetic alterations between East and West.

Overall design A total of 120 tumor samples from different patients were subjected to genomic DNA extract. The DNAs were hybridized to Affymetrix SNP 6.0 arrays per the manufacturer’s instructions (Affymetrix, Santa Clara, CA. USA) to obtain the copy number alterations profilings.
