Sample GSM1280529 Query DataSets for GSM1280529
Status Public on Dec 10, 2013
Title HMLE_Parental_RNASeq
Sample type SRA

Source name Human mammary epithelial cells
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics cell type: human mammary epithelial cells
transfected with: none (parental)
culture type: monolayer
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA was harvested using Trizol reagent.
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard SoLID protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model AB SOLiD System 3.0

Description RNA library
Data processing Short reads were mapped to the human reference genome (hg19) and exon junctions using the ABI Bioscope (version 1.21) pipeline with default parameters.
Only the tags that mapped to the hg19 reference at full 35-nt length were used. Tags that aligned to multiple positions were excluded.
Tags mapped to RefSeq genes were counted to derive a measure of gene expression.
Genome_build: hg19
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: tab-delimited text file records number of tags mapped to each gene
