Tamoxifen was diluted at 20mg/ml in corn oil, sonicated at 37°C for 30 min and injected at 5 mg/25 g mouse i.p. One week later, mice were sacrificed, the colon extracted and a 1 cm piece starting 1.5 cm from the anus immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen.
