With informed consent of each patient, 10ml cerebrospinal fluid was attained from lumbar puncture while following aseptic principles, and then quickly stored in a condition of -80°C. Then total RNA was extracted using miRNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen, P/N 217004), after which quality check was performed with NanoDrop ND-2000 and Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100 (Agilent technologies, Santa Clara, US).
