Title |
R1E Adriamycin 2 |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
R1E cells, Adriamycin
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Characteristics |
cell line: R1E agent: adriamycin
Treatment protocol |
R1E cells were treated with 0.5 micromolar adriamycin or 25J/m2 UV for 8 hours in growth medium.
Growth protocol |
R1E cells were grown in mESC growth medium, Knockout DMEM (KO-DMEM), 15% Fetal Bovine Serum, 100mM MEM non-essential amino acids, 0.1mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 2mM L-glutamine and 1X penicillin-streptomycin (All from Invitrogen) plus 1000 units/ml leukemia inhibitory factor (Lif, Millipore)
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
RNAs were extracted using the RNeasy mini kit (Qiagen).
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
Affymetrix Whole Transcript Sense Target Labeling kit per manufacturer’s protocol.
Hybridization protocol |
Samples were hybridized to the Affymetrix Mouse Gene ST 1.0 GeneChip.
Scan protocol |
Arrays were scanned on the Affymetrix GeneChip scanner 3000.
Description |
R1E cells treated with adriamycin for 8 hours.
Data processing |
Data were processed with Affymetrix Expression Console (version 1.1). ANOVA, p-value <0.01; fold change>1.5. Transcripts that are significantly altered in both adriamycin and Ultraviolet treatments are shown. The subsequent statistical analyses were performed using R programming language version 2.8.1.
