Sample GSM8026888 Query DataSets for GSM8026888
Status Public on May 01, 2024
Title SKMM1 24 hours AU15330 2
Sample type SRA

Source name cell line
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics tissue: cell line
cell line: SKMM1
cell type: human multiple myeloma
time: 24 hr
treatment: 1000 nM AU15330
Treatment protocol The myeloma cell lines NCIH929 and SKMM1 were grown at 0.5 x 10^6 cells/ml and either treated with DMSO or 1000 nM AU15330 for 6 or 24 hours. 1 x 10^6 cells were collected for each sample.
Growth protocol NCIH929 and SKMM1 cells were grown in advanced RPMI supplemented with 4% FBS with pen/strep and glutamine.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA was extracted using the Qiagen AllPrep Kit.
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Description TREATMENT
Data processing Illumina Casava1.7 software used for basecalling.
Sequenced reads were trimmed for adaptor sequence, and masked for low-complexity or low-quality sequence, then mapped to hg19 human genome using STAR2
Raw read counts per gene were called with Htseq-Count
normalized by DEseq2
Assembly: hg19
Supplementary files format and content: Tab-delimited text files of normalized gene expression
