Sample GSM848934 Query DataSets for GSM848934
Status Public on Oct 10, 2012
Title rhesus skeletal muscle
Sample type SRA

Source name skeletal muscle
Organism Macaca mulatta
Characteristics tissue: skeletal muscle
gender: male
library type: strand-specific, dUTP protocal
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted from five rhesus monkey tissues using the Trizol method and analyzed by an Agilent 2100 bio-analyzer (Agilent Technologies). Poly (A)-positive RNA was purified with the Dynabeads mRNA purification kit (Invitrogen) from 5μg of total RNA with high quality (RNA integrity number >7.5), following the manufacturer's instructions. A strand-specific RNA-Seq library preparation on the basis of the incorporation of deoxy-UTP was performed.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Data processing muscle.bam; genome build: rheMac2
muscle.bed; genome build: rheMac2
raw reads were aligned by Tophat v1.2.0, detailed parameters can be in header information of *.bam file. *.bam files and *.bed filed were used for the analysis of transcript expression and transcript structure.
