Sequenced reads were trimmed for adaptor sequence, then mapped to miRbase 20 Expression levels are measured as Tags Per Million (TPM). The number of reads for a particular microRNA is divided by the total number of mapped reads and multiplied by 1 million (Tags Per Million). The differential expression analysis is done using the EdgeR statistical software package Genome_build: miRbase 20 Supplementary_files_format_and_content: tsv (tab-separated values) text files contain counts and TPM of microRNAs for each sample
