Sample GSM520568 Query DataSets for GSM520568
Status Public on Mar 10, 2011
Title LCA EC 48h rep2
Sample type RNA

Source name mouse LCA endothelium 48hr after-ligation
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics strain: C57BL/6
gender: Male
tissue: endothelium of carotid, left common carotid artery (LCA)
stress: flow-disturbed (partial ligation)
time: 48 hr
Treatment protocol Mice were partially ligated in three of four caudal branches of left common carotid artery (LCA). High-resolution in vivo micro-imaging ultrasound was used to examined the induction of low and oscillatory shear stress in LCA with the contralateral RCA as a control.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA from intima were separately obtained from LCA and RCA at 48 hr post-ligation by quickly flushing QIAzol lysis reagent and miRNeasy mini kit was used to RNA extration in accordance with the prescribed protocol provided with the kit. Quality control was performed with Agilent Bioanalyser.
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cRNA were prepared with the Ambion MessageAmp kit for Illumina arrays

Hybridization protocol Standard Illumina hybridization protocol
Scan protocol Standard Illumina scanning protocol
Description replicate 2
Data processing The data were normalised using quantile normalisation with IlluminaGUI in R
