Sample GSM5851538 Query DataSets for GSM5851538
Status Public on Apr 23, 2024
Title high fat diet + PCB126, replicate 2
Sample type SRA

Source name liver
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics treatment: high fat diet + PCB126
Sex: male
strain: C57Bl/6J
Growth protocol Male C57Bl/6J mice were fed a high fat diet (HFD, 42% kCal from fat) for 12 weeks and exposed to a single oral gavage of vehicle control (corn oil), Aroclor1260 (20 mg/kg), PCB126 (20 µg/kg), or the combination of the doses of Aroclor1260 + PCB126.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol miRNA was isolated from five mouse livers/experimental exposure using Qiagen miRNA kits.
Libraries were prepared from 1 µg of mouse liver RNA using the QIAseq miRNA Library Kit (QIAGEN Cat. No. 331502), following manufacturer’s instructions.

Library strategy miRNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection size fractionation
Instrument model Illumina NextSeq 500

Description HFDPCB_Rep2
Data processing low quality sequence data and adapter sequences were trimmed using Trimmomatic v0.33
trimmed sequences were aligned to the genome using Mirdeep2 v0.0.7
mature miRNAs were quantified using Mirdeep2 v0.0.7
Genome_build: mm10
